Tyresö Municipality, with about 42,000 inhabitants, is situated on the Baltic coast about 9 miles southeast of Stockholm, the Swedish capital. Cultural treasures, natural scenery, opportunities for sports and recreation, and the attractions of a metropolis are within easy reach wherever you are in Tyresö. There are frequent public transport services, and a motorway leads directly to Stockholm, whose central parts are reached in twenty minutes.
Some spots worth visiting in Tyresö include Tyresö Castle from the seventeenth century; Prinsvillan or Little Tyresö, a low-priced hostel with conference facilites; the seventeenth century Tyresö Church, one of Sweden´s most popular wedding churches; and Tyresta National Park, which features rich wildlife and is close to a major city.
This tourist map is designed to reach a wide scale of users, visitors, inhabitants, and employees working with city planning. Therefore it had to have a lot of information and still be easy to read and understand.
