The California Delta—Ecosystem Restoration Targets and Levees at Risk

U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation

This map displays habitat restoration opportunities for the California Delta, a major component of the largest estuary on the West Coast and a key component for California water supply. Subsidence and anticipated sea level rise have limited restoration opportunities for aquatic and terrestrial habitats. These areas are highlighted here. The Delta Vision process by the State of California has identified key characteristics for habitat restoration.
