Maps are created quarterly as part of the collaboration between the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs and the Center for International Earth Science Information Network. For the quarter from October to December 2008, a group of up to eight maps for eleven countries was produced. A sample of these maps represents some of the HIV response-related monitoring activities: HIV Care and Treatment, Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV, Tuberculosis/HIV Care and Treatment, Provider-Initiated Counseling and Testing/Voluntary Counseling and Testing, Early Infant Diagnosis, and Laboratory Services.
