Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission

The GIS Department of the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission supports various planning, public safety, public works, and other governmental functions for the counties of Kenton, Campbell, and Pendleton.

The Kenton County sanitary sewer network map appeared in the 1987 map book from Esri, then titled ARC/INFO Maps. Using prototype software, twenty-five layers from a Synercom drawing were directly converted into an ARC/INFO format. After minor revision with the ArcEdit application, this map was compared using the map composition features of the ArcPlot application.
