Nonpotable Water System

Irvine Ranch Water District

Click to Enlarge Nonpotable Water System

The Irvine Ranch Water District produces a series of general-use system maps, one for each of the district’s three pipeline systems. These include the Potable (drinking) Water System, the Sewer Collection System, and the Nonpotable (recycled) Water System, shown here.

These maps show each pipeline system completely, with major facilities such as reservoirs, pump stations, pressure regulating stations, wells, and interconnections, as well as basemap information such as streets, boundaries, waterways, and topographic contours. These maps hang in all of the meeting rooms of the district office, and paper copies are also available for a multitude of uses by district staff and consultants. The map series was produced in-house by staff using ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 software.
