Broadband Access in Herault County—The Infrastructure and the People Served

This map was created for the infrastructure and broadband office supervising the rolling out of a broadband Internet network for inhabitants and businesses in Herault County, France. The goal of this map was to monitor the project's progress and to answer queries from local authorities and individuals about the areas to be served and where work is ongoing. By cross-referencing the zones not served by broadband with zones that have known population and businesses, an estimate can be made of the number of people without broadband access in a given area on the day of the query.
