Extending over much of Narbonne (about 80,000 hectares or 309 square miles) in southern France, the Regional Natural Park of Narbonne in the Mediterranean is among the country's last unspoiled natural sites, featuring exceptional biodiversity. The park accommodates hiking, bird watching, and nature trips with nearly 200 kilometers (125 miles) of trails divided into thirty loops and two major hiking trails.
Among the features on this map are the areas within the park requiring strategic intervention for biodiversity conservation, priority sites for resource management, cultural sites for restoration and recovery, tourist and recreational assets, and transportation and communications infrastructure.
