The Center for Partnerships in GIS (CPGIS) at the University of Memphis has partnered with the City of Memphis to help map infrastructure. Moving from paper into the digital age with GIS, the city initiated pilot-scale projects to map its sanitary sewer system, storm water infrastructure, and handicap accessibility along the extensive sidewalk network.
