Top 10 Reasons to Attend the 2016 Esri Water Conference

November 9, 2015

By David Totman, Industry Manager—Global Water Practice

At the inaugural Esri Water Conference, I gave an overview of the water industry from the public works perspective. I reflected on my past experiences in facing water infrastructure challenges as the former manager of asset management at Colorado Springs Utilities, and I discussed how I helped our organization fight water main breaks with a myriad of tools, including Esri’s very own ArcGIS® technology.

At the upcoming 2016 Esri Water Conference, you’ll hear some different stories from me. For example, I’ll dive even deeper into my history of using GIS by sharing my experiences as a groundwater hydrologist for the State of Arizona. Why? We want to add a perspective that was missing from our first conference.

I’m thrilled to announce that we will be bringing together both water resources and water utilities professionals for the 2016 Esri Water Conference. By joining together, we can explore common tools and workflows that can help us all achieve greater efficiency in our work.
