Esri Education User Conference 2004

Educators from around the world will gather August 7–10, 2004, at the Marriott Hotel and Marina in San Diego, California, for the Fourth Annual Esri Education User Conference. More than 400 K012 teachers, college and university instructors, school administrators, librarians, and museum professionals will share their experiences of using GIS in the classroom for research, public access, and planning and administration. The conference will feature paper presentations, panel discussions, and other events that explore the benefits of GIS in a multitude of academic disciplines and how the technology enhances research and teaching for all grade levels. In addition, hands-on workshops in computer labs will provide demonstrations of classroom activities and geographic analysis techniques.
