Tenth Annual Esri Middle East and North Africa User Conference

The Tenth Annual Esri Middle East and North Africa User Conference will be held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, October 29–31, 2007, organized by Khatib & Alami, Esri's local distributor. The conference will take place in the distinguished Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, exclusively located on the bay at Barr Al Jissah, nestled against the dramatic backdrop of the rugged interior mountains and spectacular waters of the Gulf of Oman.

This conference is the premier event for Esri GIS users in the region, who gather to meet fellow users and share in their experiences and challenges.

More than 500 users of Esri software from the Middle East and North Africa are expected to attend the conference. The event will have a comprehensive program, including workshops, seminars, user presentations, software demos, and technology exhibitions. There will also be interesting cultural and social events.

The opening session will include a keynote presentation by Jack Dangermond, president of Esri, followed by technical presentations by Esri staff on the company's latest releases of GIS software, as well as presentations by other technology partners.

A number of Esri-authorized training courses will be offered both before and after the conference, providing an opportunity for users to develop new GIS skills and refine existing ones.
