ENVI is an image processing solution from ITT Visual Information Solutions that allows GIS professionals to use imagery to add timely geographic information to the geodatabase. With ENVI, processed imagery results can be integrated directly into ArcGIS workflows, transforming imagery from simple basemap data into valuable information. ENVI provides workflows that guide users through important tasks, such as classifying land cover, assessing change over time, and extracting features of interest. ITT's NITF for ArcGIS is an extension to ArcGIS Desktop that allows users to directly view and write National Imagery Transmission Format (NITF) data in ArcGIS Desktop. The U.S. Joint Interoperability Test Command certified the extension to complexity level 7, the highest level of compliance. NITF is a data storage format used within the defense and intelligence communities to transfer imagery and supporting data between agencies.
