First Esri Business GeoInfo Summit

Esri is hosting the first Esri Business GeoInfo Summit June 28-29, 2004, at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. This conference is for business professionals from all industries who want to learn how Esri data, software, technology, Web services, and experience can improve their business processes. Over the years, companies have used Esri GIS products and services to gain major business advantages, saving millions of dollars.

During the summit Esri will explore how GIS can help companies make better business decisions, acquire and retain customers, increase their efficiencies, and improve their profitability. Conference sessions will demonstrate how companies are using Esri tools effectively for marketing applications such as site selection, merchandise mix evaluation, territory analysis, customer profiling, message targeting, competitive analysis, and much more. Speakers from industries such as retail, real estate, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and the media will present case studies and real-world applications. This is an excellent opportunity for users to network and learn how other companies are using GIS for business applications.

To present a session during the Esri Business GeoInfo Summit, please submit a paper that will help attendees learn how the use of Esri tools improves business performance.

To submit your paper for consideration, visit or e-mail geoinfosummit@esri.com. The deadline is March 26, 2004. The conference organizing committee will evaluate all submissions. Papers will be selected based on topic, content, and how companies are using data, software, technology, Web services, and GIS for business applications.
