The live training seminar Implementing Security for ArcGIS Server 9.3 Java Solutions will air on ESRI's Training and Education Web site at www.esri.com/lts on September 25, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. (Pacific daylight time). At version 9.3, ArcGIS Server uses a role-based security model that lets you define a set of users and assign permissions to them based on their roles and grant them access to GIS services and Web applications.
