Esri and EMC Documentum have joined in a strategic relationship with GIS Technology, Inc. (GTI), an integration application architect with proven domain expertise in both Esri ArcGIS and EMC Documentum.

GTI has created PlaceLynx for ArcGIS to link documents, images, video, and other unstructured content to specific map locations. This linkage adds the following new capabilities to your Documentum content management implementation:

• Enable retrieval of all unstructured content by clicking map locations.
• Click a document to see its referenced location on a map.
• Enable access to other spatial data such as aerial/satellite imagery, demography, transportation networks, and geophysical data.
