ESRI and GTI are working together to deliver complete GIS solutions to our customers.

GIS Technology, Inc. (GTI), an ESRI Corporate Alliance, has created interfaces between ESRI’s suite of products and multiple Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management (DM) companies’ offerings. These companies include EMC Documentum, FileNet, and Laserfiche. The GTI interface provides a seamless link between ESRI's GIS and the DM or ECM system.

The integration of the products allows for two-way analysis. The user can find all content associated with a specific geographic feature, or alternatively, find where, spatially, within their GIS a certain document is associated. The integration also allows the user to perform a spatial query to find multiple documents associated with multiple geographic features.

GTI’s integration provides access to the full suite of document management functionality provided by the ECM or DM from within the ArcView, ArcGIS, ArcIMS, and ArcGIS Server interface. This gives the user better access to information, allows for better decisions to be made, and saves time.
