ESRI/SAP News

SAP Mobile Asset Management (MAM) 3.0 comes with the ability to interact with a mobile GIS map viewer such as ESRI’s ArcPad. SAP MAM empowers mobile workers to perform their daily activities related to plant maintenance and customer service in the field—at customer sites and within plants—while disconnected from the back-end SAP system. An SAP MAM Web page has been created with more information including a sample ESRI GIS driver available for download.

We would like to thank those of you who attended the ESRI/SAP User Group (ESUG) events this month. Our first webinar, presented by Steve Voelker of WaterOne, was booked to capacity. If you were not able to participate, the presentation is now archived on the ESUG Web site. Approximately 40 people attended the user group meeting at Marin Municipal Water District, one of the highest-attended events to date. Our thanks to Steve, Gavin McGhie, and their organizations for their ongoing support of ESUG.

Are you interested in presenting a future webinar or hosting a regional meeting? Please e-mail esug@esri.com with information about your ESRI/SAP implementation.
