Geocom Informatik AG, founded in 1995 headquartered near Berne, Switzerland, has achieved continuous and sustainable growth. In 2008 the subsidiary was founded in Zürich, followed in 2010 by its sister company in Germany. Since August 2010, Geocom has been a part of Esri Deutschland Group GmbH. This group includes Geocom Informatik AG (Switzerland), Geocom Informatik GmbH (Germany), Esri Schweiz AG, Esri Deutschland GmbH and conterra GmbH. The entire group currently employs more than 400 people.

As a supplier of complete solutions, Geocom covers significant areas of geo-informatics. With the GEONIS framework, which builds on Esri technology, both generic expert applications and custom solutions are developed, depending on what is required. As the developer of GEONIS software, Geocom ensures its distribution within Switzerland and in the international market. Geocom Informatik GmbH, which has its headquarters in Kranzberg (near Munich) and a subsidiary in Hamburg, is responsible for the sale and implementation of the corresponding solutions in Germany. These solutions are based on GEONIS and include all services required for a successful system launch.
