The AutoMapper module is capable of reading any type of U.S or Canadian textual legal descriptions and accurately creating an average of 80% of the polygons, thereby significantly reducing manual mapping costs. Further, the system tracks revisions to land records and will automatically correct or remap polygons when land boundaries change.

In addition, LandWorks GIS provides advanced spatial analysis and reporting abilities for both ArcMap and web-based ArcGIS Server. This includes the ability to easily produce maps for complex lease analysis such as total mineral interest leased, working interest and net revenue interest maps for any depth or formation interval. All land records data may be queried and displayed with more than 30 canned reports available that can be run directly from the GIS. Any scanned document images stored on a file server or in any Document Management System may be queried, retrieved and displayed in the GIS.
