Field Express Chameleon is a mobile application developed to utilize the ESRI ArcGIS Server Advanced Enterprise Mobile SDK. 3-GIS’ Field Express Chameleon (Fx) addresses a persistent need for companies to send and receive accurate information to field crews. Utilizing a task-centric mobile application such as Field Express, field workers can begin collecting and correcting vital asset information with as little as 15 minutes of application training. This data can be saved directly back to the GIS or supervisory department, in real-time if so desired, without the delays and error inducing process of redline conversion or redrafting.

In addition to being flexible to meet the changing needs of an enterprise, Field Express Chameleon was also designed to be extremely easy to learn and use. Utilizing changing skins, Field Express’ user interface changes based on the user’s task requirements.

3GIS’ mobile solution Field Express Chameleon utilizes multiple connection technologies to allow field users to post data back from the field (and receive updates) in near real-time.
