GeoLynx® EOC (Emergency Operations Center) is a Web-based command center built to ESRI public safety and homeland security situational awareness recommendations. It provides a common operating picture (COP) with vital information needed to make decisions. GeoLynx EOC enables multiple users across different agencies to view and understand critical situations. GeoLynx EOC's interoperable technology foundation is built on ESRI's ArcGIS Server. ArcGIS Server is an essential component for critical situational awareness, allowing display of massive amounts of unified, location-based information in a simple graphic format. GeoLynx EOC brings crucial data together for viewing anywhere there is a Web browser: in the office, on a laptop, in a vehicle, in a conference room, and in many locations across jurisdictions or the country. GeoLynx EOC is one place to gather and share information, strategize, plan, mitigate, track, and respond to any emergency. GeoLynx EOC users can see shared user-drawn annotations, hazmat isolation protocols, 9-1-1 call locations, CAD calls for services, real-time vehicle locations, and network cameras. In addition, GeoLynx EOC displays configured public and private Web services, such as weather data or fire maps, all within the context of an online GIS map. GeoLynx EOC seamlessly integrates into ArcGIS Server enterprises everywhere, bringing the GIS industry's most powerful Web cartographic and spatial analytics to the public safety industry.
