GeoLynx® Mobile extends public safety GIS data to the field when installed on a mobile data computer in response vehicles. Immediate and important information in an emergency call situation displays on one screen. GeoLynx Mobile is developed on ESRI ArcGIS Engine Runtime, optimizing mobile GIS mapping. GeoLynx Mobile can be configured three different ways. In the most basic setup, GeoLynx Mobile is installed and used as a navigable GIS map in the vehicle. Mapping features include address searches and routing and distance measurements. Greater functionality can be added with a GPS connection to track the vehicle on the map. This functionality can be enhanced further with full fleet tracking over a mobile data network so users can see themselves and other response units in real time as a situation unfolds. Perfectly suited for the mobile environment, GeoLynx Mobile allows the user to set screen tinting with night and day display settings and has easy-to-view display and large buttons for touch screen functionality.
