GPS-Photo Link

GPS Photo-Link helps users streamline photo-based field data collection and information management. The power and agility of GPS-Photo Link enables organizations to meet compliance requirements, effectively capture project data, and capitalize on new business opportunities. Try a trial version of GPS-Photo Link today.

GPS-Photo Link enables users to accurately map the locations of photos taken with the Ricoh G700SE, a Trimble handheld computer with built-in camera, cell phones with cameras and GPS, or any digital camera and hand-held GPS receiver. The automated software correlates each photo with its GPS coordinates and other data collected in the field.

In addition to writing GPS and other attribute data into the EXIF header of photos, GPS-Photo Link offers functionality for data QC, report creation, and integration with GIS and non-GIS databases. Users can create watermarked photos, as well as word, html, or .pdf reports to share the geotagged photos and maps between organizations. The program, which can run as an extension within ArcGIS, outputs data into Shapefiles, Esri Personal and File GeoDatabase, as well as ArcSDE Enterprise GeoDatabases. It can also output to .csv files and Access files for integration into a non-GIS database.
