GPS-Photo Link is PC software that links digital camera photos with the latitude and longitude of where the photo was taken. A GPS receiver is used to determine the location of the photo without physically connecting the camera to the GPS receiver. No wires needed! GPS-Photo Link then watermarks photos with their location, creates HTML files with maps showing where photos were taken, and creates shapefiles that can be used in ArcGIS. An ArcGIS extension allows users to hover over location points and see pictures for each point.

The Ricoh edition takes advantage of the integrated GPS, further simplifying the program. An ArcGIS plug-in enables users to process photos with one button without leaving ArcGIS.
