Wacom's pen displays combine the advantages of an LCD monitor with the control, comfort, and productivity of Wacom's most sophisticated patented, cordless, battery-free, tablet technology. By using a pen directly on the screen, users work much more quickly and naturally.

The DTZ-2100 pen display enhances many of the features included in ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop software suite. With ArcMap, the user can quickly move through editing sessions naturally by manipulating the pen directly on the screen to select coordinates, snap vertices, or place points. Using the pen on the screen with the built-in ArcMap pen tools, users can easily ink graphics on any map or image.

ArcSketch 1.0 is an extension for ArcGIS 9.1 Desktop that allows users to quickly create features in ArcMap with easy-to-use sketch tools. The user simply selects a sketch tool and an associated symbol, then draws the feature. ArcSketch automatically manages the drawing environment, allowing users to focus on what to draw as opposed to how to draw.

The wide-aspect ratio of the Intuos3 6x11 is ideal for users with multiple monitors, since the active area of the tablet closely matches the extended desktop area of a DTZ-2100 and a traditional monitor.
