SolutionsDTZ-2100 Solution The DTZ-2100 pen display enhances many of the features included in ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop software suite. With ArcMap, the user can quickly move through editing sessions naturally by manipulating the pen directly on the screen to select coordinates, snap vertices, or place points. Using the pen on the screen with the built-in ArcMap pen tools, users can easily ink graphics on any map or image. ArcSketch 1.0 is an extension for ArcGIS 9.1 Desktop that allows users to quickly create features in ArcMap with easy-to-use sketch tools. The user simply selects a sketch tool and an associated symbol, then draws the feature. ArcSketch automatically manages the drawing environment, allowing users to focus on what to draw as opposed to how to draw. The seamless surface of the DTZ-2100 and tilt stand allow for a completely unconstrained work surface. For GIS users who are accustomed to large digitizing tablets, the Wacom pen display provides them with the freedom to work in a digital paperless environment with the added benefits of seeing precisely where the pen is applied. Using a Wacom pen display with another monitor is now easy with the special ESRI/Wacom Solution.
