Announcing Tobin GIS Studio-Spatial Data Creation 1.1

SAN ANTONIO, March 9, 2007--P2 Energy Solutions announces the release of Tobin GIS Studio - Spatial Data Creation version 1.1 (TGS-SDC); an intuitive tool that enables the user to create and display spatial representations of land assets and facilitate spatial analysis of these assets.

TGS-SDC is the spatial data creation component of the Tobin GIS Studio suite of products. The TGS-SDC application, an extension of ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop products (ArcGIS Desktop), integrates with P2 Energy Solutions’ land asset management products, other OLE-compliant databases and ASCII files to provide a scalable, compatible GIS solution with land asset management systems.

In addition to direct integration with P2 Energy Solutions' land asset management solutions, TGS-SDC supports an interface with any land asset management system.
Usability of and access to TGS-SDC tools in ArcGIS has been improved to separate editing and administrative functions.
Directly from ArcGIS Desktop, users can now define their preferences, create and access Bookmarks, which are persistent regardless of the map project (MXD), and add spatial layers without having to know where the data is stored.
Tobin GIS Studio – Management Console, the tools that manage the process of creating spatial data, have been significantly improved with more intuitive interfaces, performance enhancements, and expanded functionality to facilitate application of user's variable work processes.
