Deployment and Support
At this stage, Esri deploys your solution into production and provides the training, technology transfer, and operational support necessary to ensure a smooth transition to a production system.
Deployment
Deployment activities include installing and configuring the hardware and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software environment for an application and then installing the completed solution.
Training and Knowledge Transfer
Esri works with you at the beginning of the project to define general training objectives and in the Analysis and Design phase to define detailed training components to be implemented as part of the release plan. Training plans typically define the approach, classes that are needed, the audience, and the logistics of the training (e.g. roles and responsibilities, development of materials, and scheduling of classes).
Operational Support
The type of operational support needed is defined during the release planning as well. Esri can provide many levels of support, including 24x7 support in high availability environments and on-site support.
