Spatial Data Infrastructure
Social challenges, environmental issues, and economic downturns all take cooperation across organizational and geographic boundaries to solve. Many private and public organizations use Esri technology to create spatial data infrastructures (SDIs) to share geospatial data and resources and work collaboratively to address these challenges.
Esri has supported many SDI implementations at regional, national, and global scales across the world. We can assist you with creating a geoportal — a web portal that specializes in the posting, discovery, and exchange of geographic information resources — or a full SDI using ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS or the open source Geoportal Server, depending on your needs.
In Europe, Esri supports the INSPIRE initiative by providing software and services for the access, discovery, management, and sharing of geospatial data throughout the continent. We can help you implement ArcGIS for INSPIRE to allow you to achieve INSPIRE compliance in a timely manner using your existing ArcGIS infrastructure.
