Evaluate ArcGIS for Desktop Extensions
Follow the instructions below based on the software you have. Use our online resources to get more information about trial software.
New Customers
You don't have any ArcGIS for Desktop software
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo)
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo)
And you'll receive a full copy of ArcGIS for Desktop at the ArcEditor license level and selected ArcGIS extensions at no cost for 60 days.
Existing Customers
You have a single use license
(ArcView or ArcEditor version 9.3.1 or older)
(ArcView or ArcEditor version 9.3.1 or older)
- Go to Start
All Programs ArcGIS Desktop Administrator. Click Register Single Use and Extensions and follow the instructions. - After installation, go to ArcMap Tools Extensions. Check the box next to the extension name.
You have a single use license of version 10
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo)
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo)
- Go to Start All Programs ArcGIS ArcGIS Administrator. Make sure you have the appropriate Desktop Single Use product selected, click Authorize Now, and follow the instructions. Click Register Single Use and Extensions and follow the instructions.
- After installation, go to ArcMap Customize Extensions. Check the box next to the extension name.
You have a concurrent use license
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo, all versions)
(ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo, all versions)
