System Requirements

ArcGIS Mobile is installed as a part of ArcGIS Server for the .NET platform, which has its own system requirements.

Mobile devices which run ArcGIS Mobile applications require Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and support the following device operating systems:

• ArcGIS Mobile Out-of-the-Box Application
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 & 6.0 Pocket PCs
• Software Development Kit (SDK)
  • Windows Mobile 6.0 Classic, Standard, and Professional editions
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC and Smartphone
  • Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PCs
  • Windows CE .NET 5.0 and 6.0
  • Windows Vista, XP, and XP tablet
