The USA Prime Imagery collection includes satellite imagery for the world and i-cubed Nationwide Prime high-resolution aerial imagery for the contiguous United States, as well as boundaries, place names, and transportation reference layers.

USA Prime Imagery
  • USA Prime Imagery. Satellite imagery for the world and i-cubed Nationwide Prime high-resolution imagery for the contiguous United States.
  • World Transportation. Transportation data, including highways, roads, railroads, and airports.
  • USA Elevation. 30-meter elevation data for the contiguous United States. This service is intended for 3D terrain visualization.
  • World Elevation. 90-meter and 1-kilometer elevation data for the world. This service is intended for 3D terrain visualization.
  • World Boundaries and Places. County, state/province, and county or equivalent boundaries and place names for the world. Intended as an overlay for basemaps with darker backgrounds.

The USA Prime Imagery collection is metadata-enabled such that when you use the Identify tool in ArcGIS Desktop's ArcMap or Web mapping applications, you can see the resolution, collection date, and source of the imagery at the location you clicked. The metadata applies only to the best available imagery at that location. You may need to continue zooming in to view the best available imagery. View details for each service.
