The Community Analyst Add-In is not a report sharing tool. Reports that are created and run from the add-in are not available in the Community Analyst web application and vice versa.

The Community Analyst Add-in uses the Add-in technology introduced with ArcGIS Desktop 10. Therefore, the Add-in does not work with versions of ArcGIS Desktop prior to 10.

In cases where a boundary is considered a complex polygon (has more than 10,000 points that define the shape), then the Community Analyst Add-In generalizes, or reduces, the amount of points that define the boundary. This causes the shape to be slightly different and, as a result, the data to be slightly different.

You can run reports and append data for up to 100 features/boundaries at one time. If you want to run more than 100 reports, you must run them in groups of 100.

This report has not been formatted for display in that format.

This option allows you to append data that you see in the report as attributes to the boundary layer in ArcGIS for Desktop, allowing use of the data in other ArcGIS mapping processes and workflows.

Data variables from one report can be added as attributes to the boundary layer. If you want to add more, you must run one report at a time.

You can add data to a boundary layer as many times as you like. However, duplicate data may be added as attributes to the boundary layer.

Report history is cleared hourly. We recommend that you save reports locally by selecting the option in Preferences to "Automatically download reports to:" and selecting your local directory.
