Updated Map Services
- World Imagery: Our previous imagery offerings—World IKONOS Cities Imagery, World Imagery, and USA Prime Imagery—have been updated and merged with new high-resolution imagery into one service.
- World Street Map: Improved cartography and the latest updates from AND global data and Tele Atlas street data for North America.
New Tiling Scheme Provides Easier Mashups
- Map services are now tiled in the Web Mercator Projection with 256 x 256 pixel tiles.
- You can easily create mashups with web maps from Bing and Google, which share the same tiling scheme.
Portable Solution for the Field
The MLP Portable Solution provides map services on a portable server—giving you access to maps when you are disconnected from the network in the office or the field.
In addition to map services, it includes ArcGIS Server Enterprise software, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and Microsoft SQL Server.
