ArcGIS Military Analyst

What types of data can I access with ArcGIS Military Analyst?
ArcGIS Military Analyst can be used with any of the data sources supported by ArcGIS for Desktop products (ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView). These include ArcInfo coverages; shapefiles; CAD, VPF, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, SunRaster, USGS DEM, DTM, Department of Defense DTED, generic ASCII, and MrSID files; and ArcGIS themes created from tabular data.
I am a developer. Can I use ArcGIS Military Analyst to create custom applications?
Yes. ArcGIS Military Analyst tools can be accessed through Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), which is included in ArcGIS. ArcGIS Military Analyst can be customized with any COM-compliant language, allowing you to build new applications that deliver highly sophisticated military solutions.

Military Overlay Editor

Does Military Overlay Editor (MOLE) support the entire MIL-STD-2525B library?
Yes. MOLE supports all five appendixes of MIL-STD-2525B, including the recently published Change 1 additions.
I have an application I want to use 2525B symbols in. Can MOLE help?
Yes. MOLE has a fully documented and supported API. You can find standard ArcObjects developer help and developer samples in Java, C++, and .NET included with the MOLE installation.
Does MOLE work with my existing data?
MOLE can use any supported ArcGIS vector format data that meets a few minor schema requirements (like a Symbol ID code field). There is a geoprocessing tool included with MOLE that will add the required fields automatically.
We are starting to use ArcGlobe. Can MOLE work in 3D?
Yes. MOLE works in ArcGlobe, an application within ArcGIS 3D Analyst. Force elements are positioned on callout lines and billboarded (always facing the viewer), and tactical graphics are extruded. The user has control over how this appears in ArcGlobe.
I have an ArcGIS Engine application I would like to deploy. Do I need anything special to deploy MOLE with my application?
No. You may use and deploy MOLE with your ArcGIS Engine application at no additional charge.

Grid Manager

What version of ArcGIS does Grid Manager work with?
Grid Manager works with ArcGIS 9.2 with service pack 2 or higher.
What types of grids come with Grid Manager?
ONC, JOG, ICM, TLM 100, and TLM 50 come with Grid Manager.
