Introducing the ArcGIS Spatial OLAP Connector

This new download from the ArcGIS Business Analyst development team allows queries to be developed using MDX, a query language for OLAP databases.

Those of you who have data stored in databases such as Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW), or SAS OLAP Server will now be able to access that data through a wizard-guided process while setting up your Stores and Customers in ArcGIS Business Analyst. You will have the option to filter the data or slice sections from it in order to retrieve only the relevant data for the analysis you are conducting.

Included with the software extension is a guide to using the Spatial OLAP Connector as well as some sample data.
