System Requirements
Maplex for ArcGIS requires ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo.
System requirements are determined by the current product version and platform configuration you are using. Please refer to the ArcGIS Desktop specifications for ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo.
If you have ArcInfo for ArcGIS 9.1 or higher, you don't need Maplex for ArcGIS. It's included at no cost to you.
