Yes. Aeronautical Solution operates directly and dependently with ESRI's core software. Please refer to System Requirements for further information.
Aeronautical Solution follows the same licensing model as ArcGIS, with key codes for concurrent use licensing and registration numbers for single use licensing.
Yes. PLTS for ArcGIS—Aeronautical Solution training courses are offered through ESRI's Learning Center or at any appropriately equipped customer site. We highly recommend that training be given to key staff who will be using these tools. Course descriptions can be found online for the Introductory Aeronautical class or the advanced Configuration class. Customized training is also available and can be conducted either at ESRI Learning Centers or any appropriately equipped customer site. Please visit our training section for further details.
Technical support is available with the initial solution purchase and for users in the maintenance program. PLTS for ArcGIS—Aeronautical Solution runs on ArcGIS Desktop, which is not available for UNIX.
The current version of PLTS for ArcGIS—Aeronautical Solution is not supported on Windows NT.
Yes. PLTS for ArcGIS—Aeronautical Solution provides a number of templates and workflows that can be customized to meet an organization's specific needs. Additionally, new symbols and styles could be developed based on chart requirements. Tools and techniques learned in the Configuring Aeronautical Solution class will be useful to accomplish any customization needs. The Aeronautical Information System (AIS) Production Procedures, available through the PLTS for ArcGIS Desktop Help, provide additional support on how to define and configure the system per an organization's specifications.
No. To install and function correctly, the versions for each must be in sync. For example, PLTS for ArcGIS—Aeronautical Solution 9.3.1 only works with ArcGIS 9.3.1.
