PLTS Defense Solution Key FeaturesDefense Solution includes production tools and features to efficiently create and maintain military specification compliant data. Some of these key features include PLTS Preload Validate ToolThe PLTS Preload Validate tool allows you to validate source data against your cross-reference database prior to loading it with the Data Load Automation tool. Using the two report files generated by the PLTS Preload Validate tool, you can determine what data will be excluded when you load your data. This gives you the opportunity to validate that the data being excluded should not be loaded or to adjust the cross-reference to include the data. Data Load Automation ToolThe Data Load Automation tool has the ability to load data from multiple sources into a geodatabase. During load you can also cross-reference features and attribute values of the source data as it is loaded into your geodatabase. This is especially useful for quickly bringing file-based data formats, such as coverages and shapefiles, into a seamless geodatabase. PLTS Contouring ToolsThe Contouring tools allow you to generate and manipulate contours from digital elevation models (DEMs) in batch. Typically DEMs cover a small area of interest. With the PLTS Contouring tools, many DEMs can be processed individually or joined and processed together. Coded Value DomainsDomain tables are defined as part of the geodatabase and are used to control input to a field. The PLTS geodatabases have been built with coded value domain tables defined. Condition TablesThe condition table (CNT) is used to accommodate attributes that rely on a condition. These may be discontinuous ranges, character strings, or coded value attributes that rely on one another. Valid Value TablesThe PLTS valid value tables (VVTs) extend the concept of the coded value domains. They are used for data rendering and quality control. The VVTs contain the valid attribute combinations for all features in the feature class. |
