Create Custom Map Sheets—Mapping Agency Solution includes support for several map series products including Topographic Line Maps, Joint Operations Graphic-Air, Vector Maps Levels 1 and 2, and topographic maps. For each product there are specific map surround elements and placement rules that can be customized according to the data used for the map sheet.

Interactively Select an Area of Interest—In the Map Series design mode, you can use an assortment of tools to focus on the area of interest for a map sheet or map series. The area of interest can be selected using specific coordinates, selecting a drop point, or drawing a shape around the area that will be the focus of the map series or map sheet.

Customize Map Elements—The Select Element tool is used to select and edit individual elements on the map sheet or map series layout. The Select Element tool allows you to interact with the placement of elements as well as the properties of the selected element.

Create Custom Map Surround Elements—Agencies can generate their own map surround elements for specific map and chart products and use them as they would any of the elements that are included with Mapping Agency Solution. They are developed programmatically and incorporated into the software.

Prevent Features From Overprinting on a Map Sheet—Tools available on the PLTS Carto Editing toolbar allow you to show selected features, hide selected features, show only visible features, and show only hidden features.
