Geographically Weighted Regression [PDF]
A collaboration of the National Centre for Geocomputation and the National University of Ireland Maynooth, this white paper discusses the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) method, including information about the theoretical background for GWR. This paper also includes a tutorial to take you step by step through the processes of preparing data, fitting/calibrating the model, displaying GWR output, and interpreting GWR analysis results.

GWR was introduced with ArcGIS 9.3 and is available in the Spatial Statistics Toolbox with ArcInfo, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, or ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst.
