ArcGIS Tracking Analyst

Key Features

Tracking Analyst extends ArcGIS to receive, display, and analyze time series data using objects and tools designed to handle both real-time and historical data.

  • You can display static, dynamic, and discrete real-time data as well as historical data sets containing valid data information.
  • The data model supports linking temporal observations with spatial and attribute information.
  • Each layer has its own temporal extent, which sets the amount and period of data visible on the display.
  • ArcMap tools, such as Identify and the Attribute table, honor the settings in the temporal extent.
  • Tracking Analyst supports layer labeling of the most current symbol.
  • You can export real-time data to shapefile and geodatabase formats.
  • Tracking Analyst supports dates from January 1, 4713 BC, to December 31, 9999 AD.
  • You can export a map display to a multimedia file.
