Enterprise Image Management

System Requirements

The Image extension is available for both the Standard and Advanced editions of ArcGIS Server. It is CPU intensive and optimized to minimize RAM requirements, so it has a relatively small RAM footprint. The ArcGIS Server Image extension works on the Microsoft operating systems listed below:

Server Manager

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista Enterprise, or Windows Server 2008
  • Hardware requirements
    • Pentium 4 or higher processor
    • 512 MB of RAM minimum, 1 GB or higher recommended
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

Server

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista Enterprise, or Windows Server 2008
  • Hardware requirements
    • Intel Pentium or Intel Xeon 1.0 GHz
    • 1 GB RAM

Service Provider

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista Enterprise, or Windows Server 2008
  • Hardware requirements
    • Intel Pentium or Intel Xeon Processors
    • 1.0 GHz CPU minimum, 2.0 GHz or higher recommended
    • Minimum of 1 GB RAM recommended

Service Editor

  • ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 (ArcView minimum) installed with .NET support
  • Hardware requirements as per ArcGIS Desktop 9.2
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

ArcGIS Server Image Clients

  • Hardware requirements as per the application running the client.
  • ArcGIS Desktop clients require .NET 2.0 and ArcGIS .NET Support to be installed.
