Customer Profiling

Customer Profiling combines Community Tapestry segmentation data with demographic data to analyze your customer base and find the types of customers who would be the most interested in your products and services. Knowing the profile of your current customers, you can easily find more like them and create effective marketing campaigns to target your market area.

For each customer profiling project, ESRI will return your original address file with the associated geographic codes and Tapestry Segment assignment as well as a number of reports summarizing the analysis.

Customer Profiling projects include the following reports:

  • Geocoding Match Level Summary. This summary report assigns customer records to one of four match levels based on the geographic code assigned to each customer. View sample [PDF]
  • Customer Geographic Summary. This summary report shows geographic areas and percentages where most of your customers are located, ranked in descending order according to the number of customers in each area. View sample [PDF]
  • Customer Demographic Profile Report. This report summarizes the demographic makeup of geographies where your customers live. View sample [PDF]
  • Customer Tapestry Profile. This report shows the Community Tapestry segments and summary groups that most accurately reflect your customer records. It also compares your customer profile to the Tapestry profile of the county containing the records for each file. The report is sorted by customers in descending order, showing which segments make up your current customer base. View sample [PDF]
