Guidelines for Complimentary User Conference RegistrationUser Conference Registration Guidelines for Standard Maintenance Programs and ArcWeb Services SubscriptionsComplimentary conference registrations are among the benefits offered as part of certain standard ESRI software maintenance programs and ArcWeb Services subscriptions. Current and fully paid maintenance subscriptions for the following software provide complimentary conference registrations. Complimentary registrations are offered under ESRI's standard commercial and standard U.S. federal maintenance programs. Complimentary registrations may be offered based on different rules from the ones stated below for nonstandard maintenance programs and any customized contracts. Specifically, the rules for Registration Information for U.S. federal government contracts and educational site license contracts differ contract by contract. These rules also do not apply to licenses and maintenance contracts that are part of the ESRI Business Partner Program. For more information, please contact User Conference Registration at 909-793-2853, ext. 1-1363. Please note: Complimentary registrations are nontransferable. The rules and policies stated are in effect as of Dec. 1, 2007. ESRI reserves the right to makes changes to these rules and policies without prior notice.
Additional InformationMaintenance for ArcGIS extension software and secondary maintenance for any software (except for ArcView and ArcEditor) does not include any entitlement for complimentary registrations. Only the standard maintenance programs explicitly listed above provide this benefit. Note: In the case of ArcView (Single Use and Concurrent Use Licenses) and ArcEditor (Single Use and Concurrent Use Licenses), the total number of maintenance subscriptions is considered to determine eligibility regardless of maintenance type (i.e., primary or secondary). For example, in the case of ArcView Concurrent Use Licenses, a customer will receive a UC registration for every 15 licenses covered by maintenance regardless of how many of these 15 licenses are covered by primary maintenance. In other words, both primary and secondary licenses count toward the 15-license requirement. Staging Server Licenses and ESRI Developer Network (EDN) Licenses do not qualify for a complimentary registration. ArcWeb Services Subscriptions must be active at close of User Conference registration to receive complimentary passes. One subscription block consists of 100,000 credits. ArcWeb Services hosting contracts should be a minimum of one (1) year. Hosting contracts for ArcWeb ServicesManaged Services subscriptions should be a minimum of one (1) year. MapStudio for Large Media is defined as follows:
ESRI reserves the right to withhold complimentary registrations from customers who are substantially in arrears with ESRI. A separate registration form must be submitted for each person who plans to attend the conference. Registrations are assigned complimentary status in the order they are received. If the install number listed on the registration form does not meet the above guidelines or if the number of attendees from each site exceeds the number of complimentary registrations available, necessary registration fees apply. Presenting a paper, submitting a poster, submitting a software application, or having other involvement with the conference does not automatically register you or exclude you from User Conference fees. All presenters must register and pay the appropriate fees (or maintenance) to attend the conference. A list of your primary/first and secondary licenses can be found on your annual software maintenance invoice. Please remember, complimentary registrations are nontransferable.
