Enterprise Geodata Management Associate 10.0

Esri Certified Enterprise Geodata Management Associates understand the components and architecture of the geodatabase and are skilled in supporting ArcGIS in a multi-user enterprise.

This certification is for individuals with 3-5 years experience as database or GIS administrators and with at least 18-24 months working with Esri's ArcGIS technology.

A qualified candidate for the Enterprise Geodata Management Associate Certification will understand how the ArcGIS users work within a multi-user enterprise GIS environment and can assist users in connecting to the Geodatabase and performing data management.

A qualified candidate should be able to:

  • Understand basic ArcGIS concepts
  • Understand the system requirements for Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
  • Design, install, and configure a geodatabase at a general level
  • Understand GIS workflows and their impact on the geodatabase
  • Manage data within the geodatabase at a general level
  • Perform geodatabase maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Use geoprocessing tools, command line, and performance monitoring and tuning tools
