ASP Honors the Esri Support Website

Redlands, California—The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) has included Esri in its award for the top ten support web sites of 2016. ASP is a reputable and nonbiased technical support website evaluation and ranking organization in the technical support industry. This marks the eighteenth year of the competition. Judges are vetted professional support website developers and consultants.

Esri’s new support site offers a streamlined interface that allows GIS professionals to access not only standard user assistance information including a knowledge base but also an entire crowdsourced collection of solutions from Esri’s GeoNet community. In addition to new product-centered navigation, other new features help users find solutions to technical issues. Esri customers receive one year of standard support with the purchase of a qualifying software product license as part of the Esri Maintenance Program.

"What we were trying to do was create a pleasant and useful user experience that was integrated with the knowledge base and community," said Nick Frunzi, Esri’s Chief Customer Officer. "It surfaces information as you’re searching from across our resources. If you can’t find what you need, you can easily create a support case or call us to talk to an authority on the subject from our support team."

Esri worked over the last year to redesign a support website that includes award-winning best practices. Launched on May 26, the new Esri support site provides improved online support for all users.
