Esri Will Showcase Dedicated Winter Maintenance Solutions at APWA North American Snow Conference

Redlands, California—Esri announces that it will be exhibiting its snow management solutions at the American Public Works Association (APWA) North American Snow Conference, taking place May 22–25 in Hartford, Connecticut. Esri experts will be demonstrating smart winter maintenance solutions in booth nos. 300–302.

The APWA North American Snow Conference is the largest US event dedicated to technological solutions for mitigating the effects of extreme cold weather. Esri will be joining software and hardware vendors—including automated vehicle location (AVL) technology providers—from the Esri Partner Network. They will be demonstrating their products’ interoperability with GIS winter maintenance solutions.

"This past winter, many states and local governments prepared themselves for the harsh weather by deploying our dedicated winter maintenance solutions," says Donny Sosa, Esri public works director. "We’re excited about the positive results of those deployments and look forward to sharing feedback with other communities dealing with the same debilitating effects of snow."

In addition to exhibiting, Esri will make a presentation on improving productivity and efficiency in winter management. "Efficient Snow and Ice Management in Five Steps," led by Esri business development executive Carl Nylen, will show real-world examples of communities that have modernized their snow response with GIS.
