James Privette


James Privette has 30 years of experience in diverse national security positions. He began his career in the US Air Force, and most recently served as Los Alamos National Laboratory’s operations lead for unmanned systems. In that role, he was a member of the Director of National Intelligence’s Threat Working Group, focusing on unmanned aerial systems. At Esri, Privette helps companies leverage location intelligence to address incident detection, risk, and resilience. Privette holds an M.S. in homeland security with a specialization in geospatial intelligence from Penn State, as well as a B.S. in business management from Colorado State University.
