Recently, <em>Nothing But Nets<\/em> created a <a href=\"https:\/\/ourstory.nothingbutnets.net\/\"> story map<\/a> using Esri&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/arcg.is\/2bTOQXI\"> ArcGIS platform<\/a> to help people learn more about malaria. The campaign is designed to raise awareness, funds, and voices to protect families from the disease. The new story map shares the work of the campaign, the progress against malaria and the path forward towards eradication, as well as providing a clear call to action for people interested in joining the fight against the vector-borne disease.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Technology can be an excellent tool in the fight against malaria,&rdquo; said Margaret Reilly McDonnell, director of <em>Nothing But Nets<\/em>. &ldquo;We are thrilled to partner with Esri to use their software to teach people why and how we work to fight this disease&mdash;and how to get involved.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Esri and <em>Nothing But Nets<\/em> will unveil their partnership in San Francisco at TechCrunch Disrupt SF this September. The two organizations will launch an app challenge using Esri software and data from <em>Nothing But Nets<\/em> and Esri.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are honored to be working with <em>Nothing But Nets<\/em> on such an important issue,&rdquo; said David Gadsden, nonprofit program manager at Esri. &ldquo;A large part of Esri&rsquo;s mission is to make a positive impact on people and the world around us.
