The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/en-us\/about\/events\/uc\/agenda\/summit-events\/science-summit\">Science Summit @ Esri UC<\/a>, for example, aims to build camaraderie among Esri UC attendees who are interested in science, how science informs the pressing issues of the day, and how it intersects with the evolution of GIS. These events are included with Esri UC registration, though reservations are required to attend them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-12\">Communicating the State of US Infrastructure<\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-13\">The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) partnered with Esri to present the findings of its 2025 Report Card for America\u2019s Infrastructure, using ArcGIS StoryMaps. Published every four years, the report card serves as a comprehensive evaluation of US infrastructure, using the familiar A through F school grading scale to indicate how well each sector operates for the public. Beyond the grades, the report provides key information on opportunities, challenges, and performance. <a href=\"https:\/\/infrastructurereportcard.org\/story-map\/\">View the story<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-14\">Better Awareness of Wildfires and Other Disasters<\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-15\">The University of California, San Diego\u2019s ALERTCalifornia program and Esri have launched a new map layer in ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World that provides instant access to live camera feeds across California. This collaboration comes at a critical time, as the state faces increasingly frequent and severe natural hazards, particularly wildfires, that threaten public safety, environmental health, and
